Strings on the Bay Concert-Classical Flowers

Internationally acclaimed flutist, Dennette McDermott returns to perform Tuesday, July 26 7:30 PM at the Besse Center at Bay de Noc Community College. This is the second of three concerts in the Strings on the Bay summer chamber music series. Music Director Paul Lundin has chosen a program entitled “Classical Flowers.” Violist Joseph Deller joins McDermott and music director Paul Lundin in a performance of the “Serenade for Flute, Violin and Viola” by Ludwig van Beethoven. Deller and Lundin will perform a Mozart Duo and McDermott will perform two works for solo flute including the haunting “Syrinx” by Claude Debussy. A special work for narrator and violin telling the story of “Ferdinand the Bull” will be performed by violinist Paul Lundin. This will be a great concert to bring children to hear!

General Admission. Tickets may be purchased at the Box office or on our website at www.baycollege.edu. Our Regular Office hours are 8:00 – 4:30, Mon - Fri. Box office and doors open at 7:00pm on night of performance.

$10.00 for Public Admission

$5.00 for Students/Faculty/Staff (if purchased in person at the Box Office with student ID)

$12.50 for all on-line ticket purchases.
